Who we are

The H.E.A.T. – Academy GmbH trains employees of aid organizations, companies and authorities who will be employed in crisis areas and areas with increased security risks. In addition, we advise organizations, companies, and individuals on projects and plans and offer our services worldwide.

In Germany at our company headquarters, we have rented a training center with suitable infrastructure for our courses. Another training center in Florida, USA is currently in the implementation phase.

Since 2018, we have held numerous courses for the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the KFW Bank, International Search And Rescue Germany (I.S.A.R), and various authorities.

H.E.A.T. – Academy: History and Developments

In 2018 the first 5-day Hostile Environment Awareness Training – H.E.A.T. successfully conducted as a course by Mario Proehl for GIZ.

2019 H.E.A.T. – Academy by MP -Protection was established as an independent course format.

Since then, numerous other H.E.A.T. courses were implemented for various clients, with the course format’s contents tailored to the needs of the client per contract.

2022 H.E.A.T. – Academy GmbH Founded as an independent company.

In 2022, training for employees of diplomatic missions was developed as a new course format.



EOD Academy

We are a division of EMC Kampfmittelbeseitigungs GmbH, a medium-sized, traditional explosive ordnance disposal company in Bavaria. We train national and international participants in German and English in explosive ordnance disposal courses.
